Event Information:

Miss Julianne Windy was an outstanding teacher and coach at Swan Valley High School. Her car accident in 2007 has had a great impact on our entire community. The Run For Windy has been organized in order to raise funds for her and her family and to commemorate all she has done for us in the past.

The Fun Run/Walk will begin at 10:00 am

Where: The race will take place at Swan Valley schools. The Fun Run/Walk will start near the entrance to the middle school, be run throughout the complex, and end with one lap on the high school track.

Who: This race is open to all ages!

Parking: Parking will be available at the high school. The middle school and elementary parking lots and the service drive will not be open since the course crosses these areas.

Prizes: The top male and female runners will receive a prize bag donated by Runner's of Saginaw.

All children will receive a ribbon and treat upon finishing the race.

Refreshments: There will be refreshments provided at the end of the race for all participants.

Registration: To guarantee a T-shirt, participants must register by Friday, May 8, 2009. Participants can check in near the entrance to the track to get their T-shirts. Late registration will be in the same area and any extra T-shirts will be sold there, as well.

Bathrooms will be available, as well.
