Red Cross Spring Cleaning 2009

On Saturday July 14, The Red Cross radio room and outer room under went a much needed cleanup. Large items were inventoried and put in storage off site, desks were cleaned, floors vacuumed, computers updated, radios and accessories were hooked up and tested. More work is needed, but this was a good start.
We would like to thank Jeff (KC8BDQ) Judy (KC8BYI), Mike (N8XPS) and Ron (KC8YVF) for participating in the clean up. If you came down and we missed you (that dang door buzzer thing), sorry. We have to use the old bang on the window trick (thanks Mike).
SVARA is having a Clean Up of the Red Cross station and outer room on Saturday July 11 at 9:00 am. It has been 2 years since the last cleanup and we have been collecting a lot of stuff that needs to be sorted, inventoried and stored off site. This clean up has been requested by the Red Cross director and since they let us use the facilities, we must abide by their request.
