Saginaw Valley Amateur Radio Association Monday Night Net Preamble

Attention all radio operators, please standby for the Saginaw Valley Amateur Radio Association Monday Night Net. (break – unkey mic) 

My name is  [             ], my call sign is [                ], and will be acting as net control for this evening’s net.  This net meets on this repeater every Monday night at 9:00 PM on a frequency of 147.240 MHz with a PL of 103.5 for the primary purpose of handling traffic, making announcements, get acquainted with fellow hams and general fellowship.  This is a directed net and is open to all radio operators. (break – unkey mic) 

When checking into this net, please be sure to clearly state your Call Sign, your name and location and whether you have any traffic or announcements for the net.  (break – unkey mic) 

At this time I would like to take check-in’s from those operators who are mobile, on short time or are in-and-out…Please call now (break – unkey mic) 

[Log all call signs and names; ask stations to repeat their call sign/name/location if you were unable to copy it completely. Let “short time/mobile” stations continue to check in until such time that there are no more check-in’s, then ask the net to “NET PLEASE STANDBY”. Each check-in’s call sign and name and/or location is then ACKNOWLEDGED by net control restating them on the air…If any mobile or short time stations have traffic/comments, please allow them to pass such traffic before taking REGULAR CHECKINS.]
